Dead Space 2 Reviews Roll In
Dead Space 2 reviews have begun rolling in and the response thus far has been overwhelmingly positive. In fact, the game currently has a 91 composite score on metacritic, which is higher than the original Dead Space and puts it among some of the highest ranked games of the last year. By comparison, the highest ranked game in the last year is Mass Effect 2, which is only three points higher at a 94 overall.
One of the biggest changes to the game is the atmosphere. In Dead Space 1 it always felt like you were trapped in a maze of endless metal corridors with no character. The Sprawl, Dead Space 2′s setting, is covered with shops and apartments and things that make the atmosphere feel so real, and so eerie now that they’re abandoned.
Even the Dead Space 2 online multiplayer got decent reviews, much to the surprise of many Dead Space 1 fanboys.

Really? Because this game f-ing sucks. DS was the only game I bothered to get every achievement on, it was awesome. This game lacks an engaging story, and on any difficulty beyond ‘normal’ forces the player to use only one weapon the entire game (because you can’t collect enough credits to arm more than one weapon AND carry sufficient medkits or get nodes to upgrade anything), requires you to hang out in safe rooms for 5-10 minutes to wait for your stasis to refill, and turns into a platform puzzler–memorize enough of the sequence to get through X section until you die, repeat and memorize a little more. This game is a piece of shit, I’m sorry I preordered it, and I can’t wait to finish it and sell it back to GameStop while other suckers think it’s still worth something.
dont let any one say this second enstallment is anything short of excellent.I loved the first dead space as much as the next gamer but the second enstallment is fantastic,story atmosphere I could go on and on what a triumph and I,m only up to level 11,Cant wait for tommorrow 10/10
